Inspired by my long time question, what exactly is an Acknowledgment Of Country? The artwork patterns inspired by Quandong Seeds and Echidna Quills and each circle representing an AOC taking place right now around the country, the three circles with full colour backgrounds representing the voices of those who dive deeper, to give an AOC with depth and meaning. The art asks the viewer to ponder over how to Acknowledge Country from the heart, to reflect on the land on which you stand, it’s history both from creation, to colonization to now. How do you connect to this land and how will you care for this land.
